Job Description

Studio Operation – Responsible for Scheduling, Rosters, Vacation Leave Requests and on-call staff replacements.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Preparing Rosters for the Studio Dealers and Pit Bosses.
  • Establish a set of roster templates and keep this up to date, so the Senior Managers are always aware of the number of employees needed to run the operation. This includes a ‘Production Roster’ and also ‘the Employees on Standby.
  • Ensure hours worked by employees are monitored regularly to ensure employees are not working against any regulation and that over-time is properly handled.
  • Build, generate and run reports as requested by the Senior Management.
  • Be available, outside office hours, to handle staff replacements in cases of absenteeism, sick leave and no show of Dealers and Pit Bosses, and be sure that in these cases, the Studio operation is not affected at any point in time.
  • Handle Vacation Leave requests and include these in the rostering as needed by the Operation.
  • Mentoring – Before new GPs that complete their training period move to the Studio, the Scheduling Co-Ordinator will assign them a Mentor for their first 3 days. This way, on their ‘monitoring’ shifts, the Mentors will be able to use the Mentoring Function within the Portal on the Tablets and submit the Mentoring Report cards accordingly.
