Job Description

As we grow, we’re looking for an HR Manager who is not just a policy expert, but a trusted partner and advisor for our people. You will be the go-to person for all HR-related matters — from onboarding to performance, engagement to compliance. You’ll work closely with leaders and employees at all levels, ensuring our people processes are smooth, our culture is thriving, and our teams feel heard and supported.

Roles and Responsibilities

People & Culture

  • Act as the single point of contact for HR-related questions and guidance
  • Drive initiatives for culture, wellbeing, and employee engagement
  • Partner with managers to support team performance, engagement, and growth
  • Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, development, and offboarding
  • Ensure competitive compensation and benefits practices, including salary benchmarking and reviews
  • Resolve employee relations matters with fairness, empathy, and confidentiality
  • Manage HR systems, employee records, and statutory reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and internal policies
  • Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Learning & Development

  • Identify skill gaps or retraining needs
  • Organise training courses according to company and staff needs
  • Support career progression frameworks and long-term succession strategies

Partnership & Strategy

  • Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
  • Provide data-driven HR insights to inform decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of HR functions (recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, compliance)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — approachable and trustworthy
  • Problem-solving mindset with a balance of empathy and pragmatism
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Knowledge of local employment laws
  • Experience with HR software (Indigo Shireburn preferred)
