Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the team to define functional requirements and identify areas for testing;
• Testing the existing functionality of the product;
• Documenting defects found in the software;
• Writing test documentation for both existing and newly developed products;
• Working within the task-tracking system used on the project;
• Conducting functional, integration, exploratory, and regression testing;
• API testing;
• Preparing test plans and test scenarios;
• Writing automated tests.

Person Specification (Skills; knowledge; experience; attitude)

• Understanding of the software development process and the role of testing in ensuring quality;
• Knowledge of testing processes, types of testing, and the software development lifecycle;
• Practical testing experience of 3+ years;
• Experience working with APIs (Postman);
• Knowledge of SQL at the level of writing queries with SELECT and JOIN;
• Experience working with NoSQL;
• Understanding of the structure of an HTTP request (method, URI, HTTP version, host address, headers, parameters);
• Understanding of the structure of an HTTP response (status code, headers, and response body);
• Experience with integration testing;
• Experience working with test documentation.

Preferred:

• Experience writing automated tests;
• Experience testing game projects;
• Knowledge of technologies and principles for testing web and mobile applications;
• Knowledge and practical application of test design techniques.
